I have an elderly (14) cat with bowel issues we have been unsuccessful in diagnosing so far. He tends to get mess on his tail and back legs and doesn’t like to clean himself. He also hates baths (people please get your kittens used to baths, it will save you in the long run! It is entirely possible!) But needs actual baths to clean himself up. This has proven difficult until this bag!

However with this bag I can wash and be done in 5 minutes vs 20 without the bag. So the stress is minimized and he is less likely to hurt himself or me in the process. And I did time it. 5 minutes and his booty is clean and he doesn’t stay mad at me like before. Releasing him is super easy as well, just unzip the middle zipped and drop out the back.

The bag is easy to use. It opens at the bottom, you slip the cat in the same way you’d pull on a hoodie (which is easier than it sounds), tuck their head through the turtleneck-like opening at the top, and adjust the size as needed with the drawstrings. It even has a handle on the top, allowing you to easily carry the cat-in-a-bag around, and a zippered opening at the bottom so you can access their paws for the ever-dreaded claw-trimming.

When I went to give the actual baths, I was met with the same sad look and panicked meows, but no flailing limbs or attempted escapes. I applied the shampoo to the outside of the bag and scrubbed as I normally would, letting the suds work their way through the holes of the mesh and onto their coats. I used the zippered opening at the bottoms to clean their toe tufts, rinsed the shampoo out, did a quick pass at drying them off, took my cat out of the bag, and she sprinted off to plot her revenge. If she wasn’t terrified of hairdryers, I would’ve kept her in the bag and given her blowouts to complete the spa day she didn’t want.

My cat hates baths, I’ve tried so much stuff to make giving him a bath easier. My cat hates baths, having his nails trimmed, and pretty much all other grooming activities. However when we first adopted him, he had a nasty upper respiratory infection (he's good now though!) and I won't gross you out with the details, but he BADLY needed to be bathed every few days. I bought this after lots of frustration trying to get him clean, and it works brilliantly! I thought he would fight getting in the bag, too, but he doesn't at all. He still doesn't love being bathed or tended to, but with this, I don't get an arm full of open wounds while keeping him clean and healthy.

Went to put this on my cat, she fought me and managed to get herself through causing the neck to be around her tummy. I had to act quick to cut it off of her. The ties were loose and still squeezed her so tight. I do not recommend this product.
